Eli Manning

August 29, 2014

Eli Manning here, AMA.

Hey, this is Eli Manning, first-time redditor and two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback of the New York Giants. I'm sure many of you have been counting down to the season's start, and it's finally here.

I'm doing this AMA thanks to the folks over at DIRECTV who are helping bring NFL gameday to every fan, every Sunday. You can learn more about that here: www.directv.com/sundayticket

Victoria from reddit's helping me today.

And with that, go ahead, reddit, Ask Me Anything!

https://twitter.com/reddit_AMA/status/505404922272423936

Update Well thanks so much for asking all the great questions today. I had a lot of fun answering 'em, and I hope you enjoyed the last hour or so.

First thanks for doing this AMA! We at /r/nygiants compiled a list of questions and I've put together the top 5 questions as voted by your biggest fans:

  1. We know you occasionally prank and joke around with your teammates. Who has pulled the best prank on you and what did they do? ( by /u/ProsperousPlatypus )

  2. How far can you throw an uncontested ball in perfect weather? ( by /u/mrmagoo512 )

  3. During the offseason one night I took a well known photo of you on the beach holding a tiny bucket and made it a digital painting. It got really popular for a bit and was even shown on ESPN. I just want to know if it ever made its way to you and what did you think? ( by /u/DJ_Febreeze )

  4. Please rank all the Centers you've worked with based on odor. ( by /u/3rdAnnual )

  5. Eli, of all the receivers you've played with, who do you think you shared the best chemistry with on the field? You and Plaxico really seemed in tune, as well as Amani. Who were some of the best? Also, come join us at /r/nygiants. Say hi! ( by /u/mrmagoo512 )

1) Jeff Feagles removed all the air out of my tires one year at training camp and left me a bike pump so I could pump up my tires just enough to get to a gas station.

2) I'd say between 65-70 yards.

3) I saw the picture. And, uh, I've caught quite a bit of grief for holding my child's bucket. But it's a well-done painting.

4) Start at best smelling going to worst?

I'll say... best smelling center... hehe....let's start with Shaun O'hara is the most hygienic, I think. Kevin Booth coming in second place. Wayne Lucier. And I'd say that Richie Seubert comes in last place.

5) Plaxico was very easy to throw to just because of his size. Steve Smith was another one that was great in the slot position. And you know, Victor Cruz has become a great playmaker for us as well.

Eli, thank you for doing this! With Ben McAdoo taking over as OC, what changes can we as fans expect to see in the offense this year?

I would expect to see a higher completion percentage, as well with being able to push the ball down the field and hit some big plays in the passing attack.

Regarding the Manning Passing Academy: What is the most common yet easy to correct mistake you see with young Quarterbacks still learning the position?

Hm. Well, I think the most important thing for young quarterbacks is to just throw routs with their friends and receivers. The more you can drop back and throw every rout to your receivers, the better off you'll be.

I want to start by saying you are my favorite athlete of all time. I’ve been a huge Giants fan since birth and remember being excited the day you were drafted.

Because of that, I make a lot of funny Giants gifs that are pretty popular around here: This one being my first and that sparked me to make more such as this one, this one and this one (full album here). I was curious if you had seen any, and if not just wanted you to see them.

For my real question: Besides me making weird gifs of you, what is your weirdest or most memorable fan encounter?

Thanks for taking the time to be here, and thank you for everything you’ve done for the Giants organization (especially the Super Bowls!). Good luck this season.

Feel free to stop by /r/nygiants and say hello (we’re obviously huge fans)!

P.S. My dad and brother say hello

A guy wanted me to sign my autograph on his arm, which he was immediately going to the tattoo parlor to get it tattooed on his arm. Yes I signed it.

Go Giants!

Eli, in your personal opinion, who do you feel are your toughest opponents?

Hmm. Well I think the thing bout the NFL is each week you have a tough opponent. If you don't take them seriously and prepare as though it's the toughest game, you won't have a chance to win.

But the NFC East games against the Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins are always tough (and important) ones.

Is Joe Flacco a Elite quaterback?

I think if you're playing in the NFL, you're an elite quarterback.

Wow it's Eli Manning! How are you? I am here to THANK YOU for bringing me happiness to my life. See, as human beings, we all go through shit. Life is hard, life is challenging, but something I can always count on is watching my Giants every Sunday. It is literally my favorite thing to do. Nothing quite makes me feel happy like a Giants win. And you helped solidify that. Thanks for bringing happiness to my life. Thanks for the Tyree throw. Thanks for the Plaxico go route pass. Thanks for the Cruz 99 harder. Thanks for the Nicks 45 yard hail marry. Thanks for the Manninghmam pass. Thanks for everything and god-dang do I love my quarterback!

Question: Just curious, what single pass are you most proud of? Tyree, Manningham?

I think the Manningham pass, just because that took more skill and from practice than the Tyree pass, which was more backyard / draw it up route.

What is your favorite thing to do in your down time that isn't sports related?

Just spend time with my 2 kids and my wife and get to enjoy hanging out and laughing with them.

Be honest, Ben Roethlisberger is as creepy as we think he is, right?

He's a good quarterback with 2 Super Bowl rings.

Hi Eli!

Do you ever play Madden against Peyton?

I think the last video game I played against Peyton would be Techmobowl, on the original Nintendo.

Hey Eli, glad you're here. One question?

Which is superior? Pizza rolls in the microwave, or Pizza rolls in the oven? We're having a fierce debate over this and need to know your opinion.

Thanks for your time!

My wife does the cooking in my family. I would have to ask her.

If it were left to me, I would go microwave, since it sounds much easier.

'N Sync or Backstreet?

Oh, 'N Sync. For sure.

When studying film, what is the first thing you always look for in a defense ?

The first thing is just looking for their scheme - whether they are a zone team or a man team - and the techniques that they play within their coverages.

Eli....I am a HUGE fan. Tonight is my first varsity football game ever. Im really excited and nervous. Do you have any tips or advice? Also, do you remember your first varsity football game?

I do remember my first varsity football game! I was a freshman in high school, about the 6th game of the year, and I got my first start as a quarterback, and I was very nervous. I would suggest just enjoy the experience, go out there and compete and have fun, and it'll all work out.

What was your first thought when you saw Tyree catch the ball?

"Did he really catch it?"

Is it really as hard as they say it is to learn a playbook?

It just takes a lot of time. To not only learn what the plays are, but the progression on which receiver is my first read, based on the coverage that the defense is playing.

Hey Eli! Long term Giants fan here. Do you follow any of the other NYC area sports teams outside of football? Have you ever struck up a friendship with any other NYC sports icons?

I keep up with all the NYC sports teams. I've been to Yankees games, Mets games, Knicks games, Nets games, so I root for all the NYC teams... except maybe the Jets.

How and when did you start playing football?

I started playing in the front yard with my brothers and with the neighborhood kids. From there in 5th grade I started playing flag football, and 8th grade was my first year playing tackling football, and the rest is history.

Hey Eli!

What should I have for lunch and dinner tonight? I want a meal of a champion and your the go to man!

I had a chicken gyro today, so I think that would be a good start. And tonight, maybe do a little italian, some chicken parm.

Who's the funniest player on the team?

Funniest player on the team - I think JPP. Just the stories that he has from growing up and his comments that he throws out during the course of the day.

Eli, your brother and you have been on various tv commercials. The most recent one in a rap video for "Fantasy Football Fantasy" you had a choice to be in a real rap video of any rapper (current or from the past) who would it be and you think Peyton would tag along?

Um... I was a big MC Hammer fan back in the day. And I think I could definitely do some of those same dance moves that MC did, but Peyton would not be able to keep up.

EA Sports did a decent job capturing your likeness, see Manningface .

Are you disappointed that they have yet to include your sandwich eating TD celebration dance?

I'm very disappointed they have not included my sandwich-eating touchdown dance. I am very proud of that dance and it took me a long time to master, and I feel that it needs the respect that it deserves.

What is the average day for you during the off-season?

It's average?

You know, working out and staying in shape, and trying to spend as much time with my wife and my kids, because once the season starts, I get limited time with them.

Thanks for beating New England twice.

What is your favourite beer?

Bud light.

What's a big family meal like?

Unfortunately we don't get to have too many family meals, just because my parents live in New Orleans, Peyton lives in Denver, and I live in New York, but when we do get together, we have lots of laughs and football is usually the last thing that we talk about.

You are due for another superbowl next year, how will you celebrate beating Tom Brady and the Patriots for the third time?

Um.... let's worry about beating Detroit next Monday.

How competitive do you and your brother get at family gatherings? Any funny stories that resulted from that competitiveness?

We're probably not as competitive now as when we were both teen-agers, we had some pretty physical basketball matches back in the day, I guess so much that my dad ended up removing the basketball goal.

Out of all of the Manningfaces, which is your favorite?

The "excited I just did a touchdown" one.

What is your favorite sport beside football? Are you good?

Growing up, basketball was my second favorite sport. But now golf has taken over as number 2.

Eli, as a life long Giants fan, you're honestly my favorite player ever in franchise history, and I just wanted to let you know how much we true blue GMEN fans appreciate you.

That being said and having watched so many Giants games, it always seems like running the 2 minute offense just comes naturally to you, almost like the game slows down for you. Do you think that with McAdoo's new system, you'll have more chances to run hurry up/no huddle sets? Would you like to see the offense utilize more hurry up/no huddle?

Thanks for taking the time to do this and best of luck with the rest of the season! GO BIG BLUE!

I think we will have more opportunities to play at a faster pace, and hopefully that'll help us get into a good rhythm early in the game, and to create the same success that we were able to have in the 2 minute situation.

Hi Eli, thanks a lot for doing this AMA! What was your most memorable experience in the 2011 Super Bowl run?

I think the greatest memories that you have of any Super Bowl is just the moments after the game when you get to celebrate with your teammates and your coaches and family and friends and fans who have all gone through that season together.

Would you rather:

  1. Have fingers as long as your legs or legs as long as your fingers?

  2. Have a dragon or be a dragon?

  3. Stand barefoot on an iceblock for 20 min or be tickled on your bare feet for 20 min? Why for each? lol! Thanks for doing this!

1) I'd rather have really long fingers.

2) I'd rather have a dragon.

3) Stand on a block of ice for 20 minutes.

Is Tom Brady really that dreamy? Like seriously?

EDIT: Have now learned I should never edit a post! Lesson learned.

He's pretty good lookin'.

Why have you tormented my Patriots so much over the years?

It's nothing personal.

Eli, how do you think the position of quarterback has evolved from your first year in the league to your current season?

Well, I think now you see more running quarterbacks. I still think you have to be able to throw the ball very well, but if you can run and extend plays, it gives you another dynamic.

Eli, have you ever played fantasy football? If so, how'd you do, and what are your secrets?

I did play fantasy football when I was in high school. I used to ask my dad for advice, and to give me some hidden gems to pick up on. One of the great gems that he told me about was Isaac Bruce back in the day, who only caught 70 yard touchdown passes.

How far can you punt a football?

32 yards.

The standard athlete-speak seems to be that they "never had any doubts" about themselves/their teams chances. I understand that's probably true sometimes. Did you have any doubts before your first superbowl against the undefeated Pats?

Since we had played them the last game of the regular season, and played them very well, I knew we would have a great chance to win that game.

What's something hilarious you have done or seen a teammate do to a visiting team locker room while on the road?

After we beat the Cowboys in the opening game of their new stadium, I was requested to sign part of the locker room (which some of the Cowboys fans did not appreciate).

After you score your first TD, can you throw up the Wu-Tang sign for us?

What is the Wu-Tang sign?

What is your current go-to karaoke song?

Footloose.

Eli, favorite uniforms in the nfl?

Also whats your favorite thing to eat at domilise's in new Orleans?

The Giants, of course.

Shrimp Po'Boy dressed with some cajun craw-tater chips and a Barq's root beer.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Chocolate chip.

Hi Eli, thanks for doing this AMA! I have to say that I'm a Pats fan, so I"m curious about one thing: do you get along with Tom Brady?

Yes, I get along with Tom Brady just fine. I talked to him for a little bit after the game last night.

How involved were you in writing your SNL sketches, if at all?

I figured I'd ask something more out of the ordinary than the usual stuff that's already probably been asked.

I was not involved at all - the funny and creative writers at SNL do that part.

How supportive of you and your career are your family? Has there ever been any jealousy between you, peyton, your father, and cooper?

No, my family's been extremely supportive of me, and I support Peyton 100% as well. We both want the best for each other, and the only time I would not be rooting for Peyton to win a game is if he were playing the giants.

Had football not worked out, what do you think you would have done?

Badminton?

What is your pregame meal?

Usually grilled chicken with some sort of pasta, and vegetables.

Have you ever been starstruck?

Hmm.

I asked K-Fed for a picture one time. That's the only person I've ever asked for a picture, Kevin Federline.

do you miss having training camp in Albany?

It was fun having training camp in Albany, just because we all stayed in dorm rooms and had roommates, and I went to sports camp when I was 10 years old and it always felt like I was going back to sports camp when I was 30 years old.

Eli, what was your favorite part about the old Giants Stadium? And what do you like most about MetLife Stadium?

The locker room is much better and cleaner and nicer in the new stadium than in the old one. I miss the old stadium's charm and it being called Giants Stadium.

What's on your playlist currently?

Hmm.

All country! Kenney Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, George Straight. The usual.

Hi Eli:

Has having kids changed the way you approach the game at all?

Have you given any thought to what you'd like to do after you are done playing?

No, I don't think it's changed the way I approach the game. I still prepare and work and am as committed as ever to football. And as for after football, I'll let that path unfold when I decide to hang up the cleats.

Hey Eli,

What are you favorite sports films?

Thanks for doing this!

I think we gotta remember the Best of Times, with Robin Williams (may he rest in peace), a classic. Jack Dundee!

Eli, I just want to thank you for being the freaking man. When I was 8 years old, in 2004, I went up to training camp in Albany with one goal. Meet you. You were a rookie, and you didn't let the hype get to your head. You took time with everyone, including me, which was really cool because there were many stars who didn't. I also went last year, and even after two Super Bowl wins you didn't change. That's awesome and I would like to thank you for all that you have done for its Giants fans.

Now on to the three questions.

What is your favorite play that you have made in your career?

And do you think you are worthy of the Hall of Fame?

Now that you are an established rapper, when can we expect an album?

Thank you for doing this ama.

Hmm... I think the pass to Tyree in Super Bowl 42, just because that's not the way it was drawn up, but it was able to create something and make a spectacular play in a clutch moment.

I'm not worried about awards right now.

Uh... don't hold your breath.

Who's your best friend in the NFL not on the Giants (besides Peyton)?

Hmm. I'll go with Chris Spencer, who's an offensive lineman on the Tennessee Titans, who I played with at Ole Miss.

Hey Eli, I'm a huge fan of yours!!

Who is the quarterback that you look up to the most?

I would have to say my brother.

Your team is the Giants but there are no logos of Giants on anything, what gives?

That's a great question. I will have to look into that.

Hey, Eli. Thanks for doing this AMA. If you could tattoo any image on Peyton's body (presumably when he's passed out drunk), what and where would it be?

I think I would tattoo Mighty Mouse on his right forearm.

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

Hmm.

I'd go back to Ancient Rome, and watch some gladiator fights.

Who has been the hardest defender or entire defense that you've faced in your career?

Well, I think the Demarcus Ware has sacked me more than any other player, so I think he has a pretty good chance of winning that contest.

Hey Eli, you're a lot of fun to watch on Sundays! My question is who would win in an arm wrestling contest; you or Peyton?

Definitely me.

What do you like to do to relax after games?

Usually just celebrate with friends & family who came in that week to watch the game.

Eli, How often do lift and which Schwarzenegger movie are you looking forward to more: King Conan or Terminator 5!?

During the off season I lift 4 days a week. During the season, usually just twice a week. And I guess I'm looking forward to Terminator 3!

Boxers or Briefs? Socks or barefoot? Coffee or tea? Beach or mountains? Mani or pedi?

Briefs. Socks now... socks, I guess. Coffee. Beach. Um... pedi.

Favorite action figure as a kid?

He-Man!

If you had the chance to pick any receiver from another team to be on the Giants, who would you choose?

I'm happy with the receivers we have right now.

Eli, thank you so much for doing this AMA. What was going through your head when you and Peyton filmed the DIRECTV commercial? Did you feel ridiculous?

I thought "I hope they can make me sound much better than what it sounds like right now."

What is your favorite food at Dunkin Donuts ?

A turkey sausage and egg english muffin.

What's the best movie you've recently seen?

American Hustle.

Hey Eli!

Im a big Giants fan and just recently graduated from the University at Albany. Being a former student there, I was curious as to what was your most and least favorite thing about practicing at UAlbany?

Hmm... My favorite part was just all the fans that would come out each day and cheer us on. And I really don't have any bad memories or thoughts about my time in Albany.

What are the biggest hurdles you had to overcome to get where you are as an athlete?

Who inspires you the most? Or Whose career do you admire the most?

Well, I think every athlete has to deal with disappointment, with loss. And you have to just keep finding ways to get better, to improve, to not listen to the doubters, and find a way to be successful.

Well, I think my role models have been my dad and both my brothers Cooper and Peyton.

Eli, what's your favorite football moment excluding your time with the G-men?

Playing high school football with all my buddies is still one of the great times in my life, and moments that I'll never forget with them. Also you know, winning the Cotton Bowl my senior year at Ole Miss was pretty special.

Hi Eli! Do you have any hidden talents completely unrelated to football that your fans don't know yet but you think may be amusing? :)

I'm pretty good at juggling.

I remember early in your career, you always proclaimed you never knew what people were saying about you. Do you still avoid media outlets such as TV, sports center, and the newspaper? In this day and age is it difficult to ignore all of those?

It is more difficult, but I still try to rely on my coaches and my own observations to tell me what I need to do better, and how i can improve.

Pancakes or waffles?

Pancakes.

What is your favorite pokemon?

Pokemon? is he one?

Did your brother (Peyton) and yourself really make a bet to jump over a creek at the Ole Farm golf course and one of y'all landed on the other side and it was complete marsh/mud? It's a story that went around my town and I always wanted to know if it was true. Btw thanks for the AMA.

This sounds like something that could have happened.

How much does it pump you up to hear the crowd chant "EEEEEEELLLIIIIIII"?

Go Giants!

It's always great when you have the crowd behind you and rooting for you!

How much fun was it making the football on your phone rap with Peyton?

Anytime I get to see my big brother and spend some time with him while also making a fool of ourselves is enjoyable.

Favorite spot to eat in Hoboken?

Whew... a lot of choices. Frankie & Johnnie's. Bin 14. Hudson Tavern are some of my go-to's. And Amanda's.

Hey Eli! Big Fan of not just you but the entire league! My question is how much paparazzi you guys have to deal with? I know actor's get a lot, but I am curious as to how many our sports stars get! Thanks!

I get very little paparazzi. Maybe have one or two run ins a year?

Eli, can you comment on this gif of you doing lombardi trophy curls? I think you could use some extra reps come February.

I'd like to be doing lombardi trophy curls in February.

Who would win in a donut eating contest, Troy Aikman or Tom Brady?

Let's see... I think you gotta go with Troy.

Eli, do you agree with your rating in Madden 15?

I don't know what it is, but I'm going to say no.

Eli, what's your favourite video game?

Zelda, on original Nintendo.

After you throw an interception do you want to punch the guy who caught it or do you mostly just feel sad?

I don't think I've ever thrown an interception?

What inspires you everyday?

You know, just to get better. To know that we have a full team of guys who are working hard to win each game, to ultimately win a championship, and I don't want to let these guys down.

Eli, people say I have a strong resemblance of you, to the point that random strangers on the street have told me that I look like you (more than one in a day before). Currently my fantasy team name is "Secretly Eli" but would you suggest a better name?

Edit: pic: Imgur

I think anything is better than "Secretly Eli..."

Eli, what's the best nickname that a teammate has given you? Best nickname you've given a teammate?

Best nickname... I don't know if I have any nicknames? Most guys call me "E" or "Ten." And best nickname I've given somebody, we called a quarterback Ryan Perrilloux, we called him "Bird" (he was a quarterback for the Wildcats cuz they looked similar) and it stuck.

Hey Eli! Who was your first pick in your fantasy draft?

Brett Favre (when I was 16 years old, last time I did it).

Did you have a lunchbox growing up? If so, who was on it and who would be on your lunchbox now?

Yes. I had one growing up. I'm pretty sure it was He-Man. And now... it would be Phil Dunphy from Modern Family.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think it's pretty awesome?

would you rather fight 100 duck sized DeMarcus Wares or 1 Demarcus Ware sized duck?

Uh....I think 100 duck-sized DeMarcus Wares.

Favorite breakfast cereal?

Golden Grahams.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

To fly!

Eli, we know you are all business and humble. But what's your opinion on touchdown celebrations being diminished?

I enjoy touchdown celebrations. Cuz whenever Victor Cruz does a salsa dance, I know we just scored a touchdown.

What was hosting SNL like, can you tell us any behind the scenes stories? What was it like meeting Rihanna?

Hosting SNL was so much fun. It's a lot of work with strange hours. Working from 1 PM until 2 AM, most nights, but the cast and crew had me cracking up the whole time. I had very limited interaction with Rihanna, but she was very nice and it was fun to watch her perform.

Hi Eli! Im Irish and the NFL is getting huge here, actually a US college football game is scheduled to be played here tomorrow to a sell out crowd of 80,000+!

my question is what do you think of the NFL's growing popularity around the world? Specifically in Europe and with the possibility of London having their own NFL franchise. Do you think thats a good idea? or is it just to far away for teams to travel?

Thanks!

No, I think the NFL's growing internationally is great. And I think it would be pretty neat to see a team in London sometime.

Hi Eli, thanks for doing this AMA.

Do you ever get back to Oxford to catch any Ole Miss games?

I do, during our bye week I'll head out to Oxford and hopefully they will have a home year. This year the scheduling did not work out, but I've gone back to many games in the past 10 years.

Hi Eli! I'm a huge fan and thank you for doing this. What's your favorite dessert?

Whew. Probably an ice cream sundae.

Do you want to coach after you're done playing? You and your brother are two of the smartest people to play the game, is coaching the next step? (It's my bday, pity answer, please.)

I would like to get into coaching, but I think it would be at a young level, working with kids rather than at a professional or collegiate level. Happy birthday.

What's a secret you could share with Reddit that no one knows?

I like olives.

What are some of your favorite memories playing with Rich Seubert?

Well, I had great respect for Rich because he was a guy who suffered a terrible leg injury and was in rehab for 2 years before he came back and was a tremendous player force. He had a great attitude, a great gameplay, and was one of my favorite teammates.

Can you do a back-flip from a standing position on solid ground?

Negative.

Eli! Thanks for winning two Super Bowls for us. Heard you're a big Italian wine fan. What's your favorite region? And, do you want to drink with me?

Uh... I like the Brunellos. Maybe one day we'll have a glass.

Eli. Huge fan.

Over the years you have broken the hearts of many fan bases. Do you have any memorable run-ins with some angry fans?

Philly fans seem to be the most angry.

Im a pats fan but seeing the rapping videos were awesome. Why did u guys originally agree to do those videos?

Well, we were just working with Direct TV and the NFL sunday ticket which we are great fans of and it seemed like a fun project.

Did you ever think anyone would catch "Technopop Slashfest" in this ESPN piece? Or do you genuinely like Norwegian underground dance music?

Uh... just try to slip that one past people, but you caught me!

Why do you always look like you are about to cry?

There's something in my eye... I'm not crying...

Who do you think is the rightful King of Westeros?

I have not got into Game of Thrones yet, but I have only heard good things.

What's your handicap? Also would love to caddy for you one day

I'm a 10 handicap.

If you could change any rule in the NFL what would it be?

I think the quarterbacks should be able to intentionally ground the ball.

I heard Michael Smith from ESPN on the radio this morning telling a story how in high school he threw a 4th quarter TD pass and then a 2pt conversion to beat you 8-7. Can you verify?

He did throw a touchdown pass, that's about the only truth to the story.

How do you feel about Russell Wilson?

Russell is a tremendous quarterback and had a great season, I think he has a bright future ahead of him.

How much do you (or your teammates) care about your fantasy football stats?

I think we're more concerned with our wins and losses than our fantasy numbers.

Who was your celebrity crush growing up?

Kelly Capowski.

Eli, what helps get you the most psyched up before a game?

Just thinking through all the good plays we have in that week that are going to produce touchdowns for us.

First Question:

How does it feel to be the younger, better looking Manning?

Second Question:

Can you talk to Direct TV to bring us Internet Only Subscription just for the season. I would gladly buy that for 100 or so instead of having to Proxy a NFL GamePass.

Uh... it feels really good.

And go to NFLSundayticket.tv I think they have something very similar to what you're looking for.

Hi, my name is Nikki and I have a non-football related question. Can you tell us some fun facts about Cooper? Thanks Eli!

Cooper's one of the funniest people I've ever been around. He's always able to bring a smile to my face.

Do you have any touchdown dances lined up for your next rushing TD?

Maybe Victor Cruz and I will do the tango.

The Hawaiian Punch mascot has something that looks like antlers on his head. Is that his hair or a hat?

It looks like a hat to me?

What is your strongest childhood memory? As a kid did you want to do what you do now, or be an astronaut instead? Did anyone ever give you really bad advice that you would never give to your own children?

I always enjoyed playing sports. And I couldn't ask for a better job than the one I have right now. Sometimes my brothers gave me some bad fighting advice when they told me that my best fighting stance would be to hold both hands about 20 inches away from each other above my head...

Before you finish this AMA, do you think you would do another?

Yes, it's been fun!

What is something you could't afford as a kid, that you ended up buying as an adult?

A car!

If I were to see you across the block in Hoboken and I yelled "Eli" would you:

It depends if you yelled "Eli?" or "Eli!"

What type of art do you collect? Any Picasso's hanging in your house?

My wife does most of the decorating in the house. No Picassos though.

Hi Eli! I'm actually your distant cousin (Mississippi Mannings and all that jazz), so hi Cuz! My question is this: Besides the travel you have to do for work, where is your favorite place to vacation and relax?

Usually after the season the family will go to the beach somewhere and relax in the sand.

What is Thanksgiving like with your extended family? It must be interesting given your family's football legacy.

Thanksgiving is usually spent at practice, getting prepared to play the game that week, so we'll get to come home to have dinner with the family but it's usually pretty quiet.

What is love?
